“For nothing is fixed, forever and forever and forever, it is not fixed. The moment we cease to hold each other, the sea engulfs us and the light goes out.” - James Baldwin

Trap : Trauma : Transformation examines the trappings of systemic oppression and marginalization and the trauma and toxic relationships that are commonplace within it. Through an exhibition of arts from varied mediums and perspectives, we explore how we are all related in our unique approaches to resistance and survival. Finally we aim to discover how we can better understand the healing power of transformation.
